Eating too much :(

The last couple days I have majorly dropped off my diet and started eating way too much. And, most of what I've been eating have been sugar-heavy, so I feel terrible today. Hopefully I have re-learned my lesson and will get back on the healthy eating.

I will probably do a couple purchases today if for no other reason than the probable up-swing caused by the Fed meeting.

God bless!

Atlanta.

My wife and I have decided that we will be staying in Atlanta long term. This is good, I believe, as we have found a very good Church and are really get involved with it!

The environment in Atlanta is just a lot more "conservative" than Southern California.

In stock news, I added a small position in Amazon.

Pretty solid on Thurs

I worked reasonably on Thursday, although I did take a couple hours off to play a game with my personal trainer.

Good stock happenings this week! 4 for 4 on stock picks! Yesterday, I sold puts WAY out of the money and sold calls WAY out of the money. I bought the calls back 2 minutes before close for $600 instant profit. The puts are nearly worthless now, but I'll just hold them to expiration unless I somehow need the trading capital since there is 0% chance that they could expire in the money.

This morning my wife and I created a spreadsheet of the top 10 places we would want to live long term. We then assigned 34 categories to compare them by and rated them from 1 (best in category) to 10 (worst in category) in each. We then weighted each of the categories from 1 (less important) to 5 (very important).

Based on that, we then eliminated the bottom 6 since we were certain that we didn't want them over the top 4.

The top four was Atlanta (where we currently reside), Portland, Seattle, and Yorba Linda (where our most recent house is).

She had to go to the DMV so we'll discuss more and try to come to a decision soon :)

3 for 3!

3 straight productive days and 3 straight days of good stock picks.

That's good :)

Today, I'm looking at BIDU but I will likely remain on the sidelines as it could easily go up or down 25%+ which is a little too much volatility for me. And, it could stay in a 10% range, thereby making the buy of both put and call risky also with their mammoth premiums.

But, I'll watch and see if there is something that has a reasonably return for the risk.

God Bless!

The streak is on!

Two days in a row being highly productive. I'm liking it :)

I will keep it up for a while!

Things are going well. I made some small but very productive trades betting that Amazon wouldn't go up more than 25% more :)

Life is good!

100%

I was perfectly productive yesterday! That is one day in a row now and I plan to continue the trend.

I did a Bear Call on Apple at 200. I was expecting a great quarter, but I thought that an additional 15% increase after Apple is already up 25% in the last month was going to be hard to do regardless. Thus far it is up to around $187. There is nothing major on the horizon and there are a lot of negative economic indicators out there, so I feel reasonably comfortable. Still, if I can trade out the trade for the Bear Call at 210, I will do so.

Other than that, I sold out of my positions yesterday. I am a major Bull at all times, but the last 2 months the market has been flying high during which the Federal Reserve and others keep saying that the lending crisis still exists. So, one of those eggs has to crack and I don't want to own a bunch of 50+ P/E companies when that happens. So, I'm focusing the buying I do on those companies that are higher value and lower P/E since they will have a lot less extra "hype" to drop off if something does happen.

And if nothing happens? I'm even happier, since I hate negative economic situations :) And, I will keep nibbling with bull-put selling to keep my profits flowing slowly but surely.

God Bless!

1%

One percent is about how much effort I put into life over the past 2 months :(

I have told my men's discipleship group to hold me accountable for my time this week, so hopefully I don't disappoint!

The option period ended with a horrid downturn for me. I lost $5,000 or so on Friday. I was still up for the month, but it was a pretty negative day!

This month I have a bunch of Goldman Sachs shares. I will liquidate some of them and then hold the rest for an upturn.

The economic indicators are looking pretty negative right now, so I won't get overly risky right now.

God Bless!
